BRUSH UP ON WATERCOLORS Learn the art of watercolor in a group class with Jane Akin at her studio or in the Buccaneer resort. Beginners and experienced painters are welcome. $50 per 2½-hour session. TRAVEL BACK IN TIME Explore life in the 18th and 19th centuries with a stroll through the Whim Plantation Museum. The oval-shaped greathouse is surrounded by a waterless moat used to cool the air inside. The interior is filled with antique furniture. Admission includes a tour. SAMPLE RUM Learn how Cruzan rum is made at the company’s historic distillery. The tour takes visitors through buildings that date back several centuries.
